Common Bosch problems we fix

From E15 dishwasher leaks to EcoSilence Drive motor faults — our certified technicians know every Bosch error code, sensor and replacement part.

Bosch French-door, Series 800 and built-in refrigerators have their quirks — we know each one and carry genuine compressors, sensors and damper assemblies on the van for same-day fixes.

  • VitaFresh drawer not cooling

Failed air damper or evaporator fan stops circulating chilled air into the lower humidity zone. Common on Series 800 French-door models.

  • E2 / E5 sensor error code

Thermistor drifts and tells the control board the wrong temperature — fridge stays warm or freezer over-cools and frosts your produce.

  • Water pooling on the kitchen floor

Frozen defrost drain overflows the drip tray during the cooling cycle. The defrost heater or bi-metal thermostat is no longer thawing the drain line.

  • Inverter compressor clicks and stops

Bosch linear compressor start relay loses capacitance and cycles on/off rapidly without ever pulling the fridge down to set temperature.

  • SuperCool / SuperFreeze does nothing

Damaged user interface board or burned solenoid — the boost cycle never starts and groceries stay warm too long after loading.

We handle EcoSilence Drive motors, AquaStop hose triggers, PerfectDry humidity sensors on heat-pump dryers — the full Bosch laundry stack across every model year.

  • E18 — drain pump won't drain

Coin, lint or hair clogs the drain pump impeller. Bosch front-loaders show E18 when the pump can't lower the water level within the allowed cycle time.

  • E04 / F21 motor fault

Carbon brushes on the EcoSilence Drive motor wear down, or the hall sensor on the rotor stops sending the right pulses to the control board.

  • Heat-pump dryer leaves clothes damp

Clogged condenser coil packs with lint, or the PerfectDry humidity sensor fails — cycle ends thinking the load is dry when it's still wet.

  • Washer shakes violently on spin

Worn shock absorbers or broken concrete counterweight bolts let the drum bang against the cabinet and trip the imbalance sensor every spin.

  • AquaStop hose triggered, no water in

Small leak inside the inlet hose tripped the AquaStop safety valve. The valve must be reset or replaced before the washer fills again.

From E15 leak codes to Zeolite CrystalDry units that no longer dry — every Bosch dishwasher generation including Benchmark, 800 Series and 500 Series built-ins.

  • E15 error — water in the base

Slow leak tripped the anti-flood float at the bottom of the unit. Common sources: cracked sump, perished door seal, failed water inlet hose.

  • Dishes coming out wet (CrystalDry fail)

Zeolite drying unit clogs with mineral dust or its blower fan seizes. The mineral no longer releases heat to dry the load properly during the final rinse.

  • Long cycles that never finish

Failed flow meter or sediment build-up in the heat exchanger — the dishwasher keeps waiting for a water temperature it can no longer reach.

  • Red dot projected on the floor

Bosch shines a red beam when AquaStop senses a leak — even a tiny drip from the door seal or sump can trigger this safety light.

  • Detergent door won't open mid-cycle

Wax actuator on the dispenser fails. Dishes wash in cold rinse water only and come out greasy or filmy with detergent still in the tray.

Bosch Benchmark wall ovens, induction cooktops, gas slide-in ranges — we diagnose RTD probes, power modules, self-clean latches and broken spark electrodes.

  • Oven won't reach the set temperature

Worn bake element, failed RTD temperature probe, or a seized convection fan motor. Common on Benchmark and 800 Series wall ovens after heavy use.

  • Self-clean cycle locked the door shut

Door latch motor burns out during the high-heat cycle. Oven cools down completely but the latch never disengages, leaving the door locked.

  • Induction E1 / U400 error code

Failed power module under the affected cooking zone, or an unstable 240V supply line — sometimes triggered by a brief blackout.

  • Gas burner clicks but won't ignite

Cracked spark electrode or moisture trapped in the igniter ceramic. The spark module keeps firing repeatedly but no flame forms across the burner cap.

  • Touch control panel unresponsive

Cracked glass-touch sensor or moisture trapped behind the user interface board after a liquid spill near the controls.
